2014 LAST WEEK!!! - December 28 - January 03
This is the last layout of 2014.
It feels really good to say that. The beauty of the pocket scrapbooking system is that it really does make it more simple to stay caught up.
It feels like forever ago that I started 2014 using mostly the "Honey" edition of Project Life. About this time last year I purchased the basic Adobe Photoshop software and set about learning how to use it.
I've come a long way since then... I feel comfortable with the software basics and have been able to make pages without having to refer to the instruction manual over and over again. HA. I would like to continue learning how to use the program to its fullest. I've also added quite a few more digital supplies to my collection over the past twelve months. By the end of the year I didn't have any consistent theme really going on with my book as I did in previous years. I'm not sure how I feel about the final product but really to me it is ultimately about the pictures and recording memories anyway. While I love the idea of using one color scheme to really unify the entire book, I know from past experience that I will get bored.
I plan to keep going next year. I will again make a digital version that is shared here, but then will just print the pictures and cards for an actual physical book the family can enjoy throughout the year. I see myself doing this until the kids leave home, at which time I think I will just do digital and print the book at the end of the year through a printing company. We'll see.
I've been itching to use up some of my supplies and make a more "creative" book, and maybe this year I'll find some time to do that, too. We'll see.
Anyway, thanks for joining me for the adventure that was 2014!

INSERT
As I was cleaning up files to start the long process of uploading to FLICKR, I found quite a collection of photos of Oz being his crazy self. There was so much to see
and destroy this last six weeks that I think our kitten had to think he
was in the animal version of Disneyland. HA! I am not sure which week I'll add the insert to, but here it is.
