I liked how fast my pages for last year would go together, but I missed having a little color or pizazz. I have about a gazillion digital files (give or take) and if I'm not using them I feel like I should stop buying them.
My favorite layout style has still been what I did in 2016 (demonstrated below). I liked the amount of white space, the flexibility, the ease of journaling, and the ability to include color and pattern on the little circle and tag. But because it is so distinctive, I feel like I can't really do that style again.
As I said, this year I wanted more color on my pages but also plenty of white space.
I tweaked some things and this is the result. The nice thing about going digital is that I can change my mind easily. It still has white space but not as much so I can focus on the pictures. What I don't like already is that it is harder to add journaling.
I did three double page layouts for January:

Love it! It's good motivation for me to get scrapping again.
